This is Brussels’ last traditional gueze/lambic brewery. Still a functioning brewery, Cantillon Brewery uses natural yeast fermentation. Come enjoy the tour, and taste a couple of small glasses of lambic and gueuze. They only use 100% organic and natural fruits, which gives this beer a distinctly sour flavor, and not sweet at all.
If you are a true chocoholic, you will want to take some time in Brussels, perhaps a daytrip, to tour the city and find your favorite piece of sweet. Three shops sell some of the best chocolate in the world: Pierre Marcolini, Neuhaus, and Wittamer; they are located in Place du Grand Sablon-Grote Zavel Plein and all three of them have different specialties.
On 20 Rue Vanderlinden, swing by Passion Chocolat in your [Brussels car hire][339]. The place may be a bit out of the way but it features an artisan chocolate definitely worth the drive, and the good part is that they offer free samples at the entrance.
Leave the city entirely in your [cheap Brussels car rental][339]. Visit the place where Wellington and Bluecher faced Napoleon for the ultimate battle that changed the face of Europe forever. This is 15 km south of Brussels, Belgium.
